Paws Forward Legacy Program

A gift to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter through your will or living trust is a powerful statement of your support for our mission: supporting animals, saving lives and spreading compassion.

It may also provide a reduction in your taxable estate.

When you join our Paws Forward Legacy Program we will acknowledge your planned gift and provide you with opportunities to learn more about the shelter. Your planned gift is a bequest through your will or living trust. You can arrange a gift of a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or even all or part of the residuary of your estate. If you would like to make such a gift to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, your attorney may wish to include language similar to the following:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society, now or formerly at 100 Caja del Rio Rd., Santa Fe, NM 87507, (dollar amount or __ percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate), to be used for its general purposes.”

For more information about our Paws Forward Legacy Program please email Evelyn at eviechec@sfhumanesociety.org or call her at 505-983-4309 x230.
